Q: Strange Symptoms

Hi, am new to this forum but wanted to see if anyone had any input on my question.

About a week ago, my wife came down with a sore throat. She went to the doctor thinking it was strep. No luck.

A couple days later, she woke up with symptoms of pinkeye. Not too much goop in her eye, but in the morning it is worst.

Yesterday, a couple days after she discovered the redness in her eye, she was sitting around and her right ear became plugged. Throughout the night, it remained plugged while aching a little.

The strange this is that the eye is her right eye and the ear that she is having problems with is her right ear.

Is this just a head cold???

If anyone has any theories, let me know. She is making an appointment today.

Thanks

You might want to have your wife see an doctor. I myself have frequent problems with my eyes and ears becoming infected. And yes, one can effect the other. If an eye or ear infection is left untreated, it can travel and set in your face and even into you teeth. If it is left untreated too long, it can set into your blood system.

One for sure effects the other. I have two little boys and they are always either getting an ear infection and then pink eye.... And as soon as they have one the other follows, like timework. She should for sure get tot the doctor before it travels even more.
