Hey! I havent been on in about 200 years and I dont even know if any of my old friends come on anymore....Im really sorry I lost touch with everyone but I never get onto a computer!....Ill fill you guys all in if ur still on here.. But rite now I have a serious question.

Alright I have a friend who's in a pickle and I was like damnnn ill come on ehealth and ask... Okay she thinks she mite be pregnant because she has been throwing up everyday for 5 days... Shes convinced that if she takes a birth control pill and she is pregnant it will terminate the pregnancy.. Now as far as I know that is wrongg.. Back up here?

Oh and she wants to know how early y'all had symptoms of pregnancy like throwing up and stuff

Yeah anyway, no it will not terminate her pregnancy. Maybe if she takes 10 at once or so, because that would be just like taking a morning after pill, but even the morning after pill only has an 80-85% success rate. She needs to test. And if she doesn't want the baby, she needs to give it up for adoption. And if she can't handle that, then start thinking about abortion, but birth control is not an effective way to terminate a pregnancy.

The birth control pill will not terminate her pregnancy. Emergency contraception should be used with 72 hours of unprotected sex. There are only a few b/c pills that are marketed for ec...

My symptoms didn't really come on until about 6 weeks or so and they didn't get really bad until about 7 1/2 weeks.
