Q: Pro Choice And the Law

Right I have listened to pro choices arguments for keeping abortion legal and one of the main arguments appears to be,if we make it illegal then woman will die obtaining back street abortions. So what you are saying is we should not make laws that someone is going to break,so are pro choice fighting to make drugs legal or rape or drink driving or even homicide because people break them laws everyday. If not then is that not hypocritical of pro choice to use it to keep abortion legal, this is not about choice,or do you support peoples choices to break into your house and steal your property,or a person who chooses to commit child abuse are you supporting their choice.?

I have also noted certain pro choicers or should I call them anti pregnancy because they always say that a fetus is a parasite or like a cancer and that a pregnant woman is a slave or has been enslaved, yet a woman who has had a termination is right and strong and free from slavery. This shows me that they are not pro choice but anti pregnancy.

I am anti-pregnancy for myself. I will never be pregnant longer than it takes to get an abortion.

not really. Rather, we are pointing out that if you get your way, that will be a consequense. We are loading that on your conscisnce and showing that you just don't give a damn, thus further evidencing your misogynistic callousness towards women. So the very premise of your point is off.

The argument for abortion is about the woman's right to control her own bodily resources just like everybody else, that's all.

well, so me are against being pregnant for themselves. I don't see a whole lot of pc claiming that others should be prevented from being pregnant. So again, the very premise of your claim is off.

because they always say that a fetus is a parasite or like a cancer
again, a misrepresentation. We are pointing out that the way pl defines "life," "baby" and whatnot, the tumors and parasites fall within that classification as well. That is a problem with pl's knowledge of biology and lack of common sense, nothing else.

and that a pregnant woman is a slave or has been enslaved,
another misrepresentation. The preventing her from abortion an unwanted pregnancy is the same as taking over control and rights to her body. *that* is what the enslavement is. Again, you are missing the mark.

yet a woman who has had a termination is right and strong and free from slavery.
she, just like any woman who chose to carry the pregnancy to term is right and strong and free from slavery. The problem is when others are interfering in her right to make her own decisions regarding the use of her body. You are again missing the mark. You can't be that ignorant about pc, can you? After all that time? Maybe you weren't listening? ;-)

more nonsense hyperbole and distortion from prolife. As usual, you are dishonest.

The consequence of making drugs illegal would be addicts od'ing
the consequence of making rape illigal is that victims get mu.R.Dered.
The consequence of making drink driving illigal is that people will run from the police and maybe crash and kill someone.
So are you fighting to save all these people steen.

Their body, their choice.

Drugs are legal in the .U.S. Just the ones the government can regulate and make money from.

actually I heard they banned medicinal marijuana in the states this week. The gov was making money off of that so why stop it? I think alcohol is worse than pot in all aspects but for some reason liquor is legal. Go figure.

It is also about choice and about the situation at the time(that is abortion I am talking about) as each situation is different and we are all different.
So I would say that foreverblue is truly the hypocrite here as definitely shown here because he is the weakest link(lol).
Sincerely.
