My 8 -month old baby boy is very naughty. He cries a lot whenever we leave him unattended. Wants our attention all the time. Refuses to sleep on his own ..We have to spend hours to make him sleep. Even when he's awake he just throws away anything and everything that he finds within his reach. How to control him??

You're baby is not being naughty, hes just being a typical baby. If he wants your attention give it to him, no matter what anyone says you can't spoil a baby. If he wants a hug, pick him up and give him one and don't feel ashamed in doing so. When you say he refuses to sleep on his own, what does this mean exactly? Do you have to rock him to sleep? Your baby needs to learn to get himself to sleep, if you keep helping him by rocking, patting or whatever thats the only way he'll get to sleep even if he wakes at 3 in the morning. Just put him in his crib, awake, turn the light off, give him his paci (if he has one) and walk out. If he plays in his crib for a little bit b4 he goes to sleep don't worry, if he cries leave him for a few minutes to see if he will settle himself, then if he doesn't stop crying within, say, 10 minutes, go in fix him up and repeat the proceess, but wait a little longer each time. I did this with my daughter (13 months) and it really works. Just make sure your baby isn't teething or sick that is causing him not to sleep. As for him throwing everything away, babies do this, its a game to them, try not to get angry with him. My daughter found my mobile phone and threw it in the bin today, if hes throwing his toys or whatever tell him "no" in a firm voice and try and distract him, or you can give him something he can throw such as a ball. Hope i've helped a little. Good luck with your little man. :)
