I was wondering if anyone knew of a way to thin your thighs but keep or even enlarge your buttocks.

Well upper and lower thigh exercises helps firm your thighs and butt. But the size of your thighs is proprtional to your behind. :)

Hip Fat
I am a personal trainer and I work out 5-6 days per week.

I do 3 days of 60 min. Weight training and about 5 hours of cardio per week.
I have had 2 children and my body is changing and I can't seem to get rid of my extra body fat on my hips.
I am 5'2 and 125lbs and very muscular about 17% body fat.
My body seems to be in a plateau state.

What should I do?

squats and lunges are the best for the butt and thighs. I have j-lo booty now and I can't fit into any of my shorts because I work with high repetition and moderate weight. 100 reps

If your gym have "stepmill" machine.. Get on that baby 2-3 times a week for at least 20 minutes and you will see amazing results! :d

Incline eliptical (not flat)
squats
weighted lunges

all these will help slim your thighs and make your bum grow.

Help My Thighs!
Let's see if I can explain this... If you are looking at yourself in profile view (side view) and looking at your hips, look a little towards your butt - that is where I need help! It's like I have an indention!!

I have tried all kinds of hip machines, lunges, squats, eliptical machine, etc and I still cannot slim down that area of my "inbetween butt-and-hip" area through my thighs. My body is also hanging on to patches of fat right on the inside of my thighs at the groin area.

I am a petite woman, so trying to stay in-shape is a constant struggle for me. The slightest weight gain shows quickly. I have gotten out of shape due to a back injury and now I am finding it difficult to tone those areas again!!

Help me before I drown in my thigh fat!

Hi justin, could you clarify what do you mean by

"incline eliptical (not flat)
squats
weighted lunges

all these will help slim your thighs and make your bum grow."

i dont understand and cant picture what does "incline eliptical (not flat) squats" means, as with weighted lunges. Basically, how is it properly done? I appreciate if you can help me, thanks

Cwsleepy,

there are machines at your local gym, and you can do lunges around your house or at a track. Just bend one knee after the other about 2 inches above the ground repetitively. You could use dumbells on the side while you're doing them to increase the intensity...

For squats around the house, try squatting against your wall, back against wall, in squatting position, dont use your hands. Stay that way as long as you can
