Pregnancy After Hysterectomy Posted: 06-10-05 08:41am
For the past 2 weeks or so, my breast have
been very sore and yesturday I decided to
measure them and they have grown 2 inches.
My lower back hurts and I have pain in my
abdimon on my left lower side when I press
down on it.
I have 1 overie left and still have the
symptoms of a period monthly, but this
month is different. My breasts are
usually sore for about 5 days and I get
pms, but this feels different.
I have a doctors appoinment on monday for
a complete physical and I was going to
mention my sore breasts. I'm scared to
mention this "possible" pregnancy to him
for fear he might think i'm crazy. I
would hope that's what it is instead of
breast cancer or something.
Has anyone else had this same problem or
is it all in my head?

There was a topic about this months ago.
From what I remember, if you didn;t have a
full hys, then it's possible but can be
extremelly dangerous to mother and child.
I would mention your concerns to your doc
and let them do tests to see what it could
be.
Good luck!

If you were left with an ovary, there
might be a chance of an ectopic pregnancy.
This is extremely serious, and very
dangerous. You should definitely mention
your symptoms and concern to your doctor.
If you start to get a serious abdominal
pain, go to emergency immediately.

I think when I a women has a hysterectomy
their insides have been removed. That
means no uterus. I think when they leave
one ovary that is for hormone purposes
only so a women doesn't need to take
estrogen.
Both overies don't drop eggs one is for
one thing and the other is for hormones.
