I have just found this website site and hope someone can help...I have had ear pain for 4 months now-started after a sinus infection that I took amoxicillon for. Since then I have been on 2 other antibiotics since I had such bad pain the dr thought it was an ear infection, have also been on ear drops-antibiotics. Nothing seems to help-the pain is always inside my left ear. It feels sometimes like if I could just pull my ear enough for it to pop like after a flight it would help, but other times it is almost a burning and itching inside. I have now gone to an ent who says I have a deviated septum and need surgury-i understand that might cause my sinus pain but even he said that shouldn't case ear pain-any help would be appriaciated-i'll try anything at this point, but don't feel surgery will help the ear pain.

Dear katoe,
I have been having problems with my left ear as well. In eastern views they say the ears and the kidneys are related. I have noticed that when I treat my kidneys better my ear feels better! I really like paul pitchford's book healing with whole foods. It has helped me a lot with understanding my own pain. Acupuncture has helped me tremendously...

This may sound disgusting but take some garlic, onions and water and blend it make sure there is more water than garlic and onions. blend it until it is puree make sure its warm water. drink one to 2 cups. then after half an hour go running. then when you come back try eating fruits such as Oranges, Grapefruit and acidic fruits. take a nap and then before you go to sleep that night, boil some water with garlic in it. strain the garlic water through a cloth into a small cup!! then mix the garlic water with some olive oil!! pour it in the ear that is hurting have some one do it for you it may be easier wait til it fizzes so about 30 sec to 45 seconds. the tilt your head let it drain out. then take a warm bath soak your ears. and when you wake up in the morning if it hasnt really worked then repeat the same steps!! its worked for me and its very helpful and soothing
