When you have a bowel movement does it sometimes look flat like it was smashed inside you? I know that is a symptom of ibs. I was diagnosed with ibs years ago, because they couldn't find anything else. I had colic alot as a baby also. I do have a nervous stomach but no real problems. I never get nauseated or have to vomit (thank goodness) but here recently for a little over 3 weeks now I have felt slightly nauseated on 2 or 3 occaisions, it passed. I have alot of gas and bloating. And some stomach pain and cramping after I eat, then I usually have to go to the bathroom. Then when I do have a bm I have to go back about 5 or 10 minutes later to have what seems to me like the other half of it. And I usually have loose stools. Usually, not always. Pepto doesn't really help, nothing does. Pepcid ac tablets a little, but still....Gas gas gas. I do have gallstones, but never any pain from that. I have made a Dr.'s appointment with an internist (my regular doc). But I am worried and thinking the worst now. I am 44 and overweight. Any opinions or similar diagnosed illness? Would love to hear from you asap. Thanks.

Hi, I had something similar to that months ago. Whenever I would be eating my stomach would hurt in the middle of it no matter what I ate, even salads, and I would have to go to the restroom in the restaurant and it was also loose and then when I got to the house same thing. This went on for about two weeks straight, but always seem to come on as I was eating and my stomach would hurt really bad. But I think I found my problem. At night I was also having my food come up when I laid back so I went to a general doc and she prescribed me pills for acid reflex. They start with a "p" but I don't have them on me. They're like the second strongest. Anyway, since then I haven't had that problem. I've always had a bit of problem with acidreflex and ignored it becaue I didn't want to be on med, but this was the last straw because I was so uncomfortable and it was real wierd. She said it could be from the acid reflex but wasn't to sure. But like I said, it stopped after that after being like two weeks straight of it and it just like all of a sudden came on.
