Hi people! Well this is not the first forum I post up but all the other ones are solved and all. Well like some of you might now. Im pregnant. Maybe about 7 weeks. Well my mother knows and says shell be supportive. My father does not know yet. My mother-in-law and boyfriend are crazy about it.

Well today at 7pm I called my boyfriends house and spoke to his mother. She was crying and couldnt breathe well. I asked her what was happening. And if she was okay. She told me the police were there. I was like is it about manny (my boyfriend) she was like yeah. [earlier around 6pm I had talked to her and she had told me that his truck wasnt there and that she thinks he left a long time ago] manny isnt allowed to drive, he dosent have his permit or license and plus hes not even allowed to leave the house. He was placed under house arrest last friday for 2 mo. For violation of probation. Well he took off today. I really didnt know where he was going or what he was going out to do. But he never showed up to my house. But anyways. I called and the police was there and well she told me that they took him to jail. Im very very stressed out more scared than anything I dont know if I will be able to go through my pregnancy without him. He will most likely be in jail until hes 18 or 21. Im not sure yet but hes only 16 (my age) I really need someone to post something positive. Idont know I have gotten so attached to the baby already I couldnt give my baby up in anyway.... I hope to hear from one of you soon thanks

Im also scared of what my mom will say about this. When she finds out my man is in jail for the 2nd time of my pregnancy. Shes gonna be very upset and maybe she will even end up making me do something I dont want.

Don't stress!!! It's not good for the baby. Hun if you are old enough to have be a mother then you are old enough to make your own decisions. You're mother cannot make you do what you do not want to do. You're going to learn in a hurry that you'll have to be strong for your baby. As for your boy, tell him he needs to grow up and be a man. He's a daddy now and he needs to put the baby and you first. Remember that things will work out, they always do. Be strong!

You Have to Be Ready...

This is a pretty hard decision. And everyone's right... Only you can choose on what you want to do.

But your post was a little unclear... What are you looking for in advice? If you want to keep your baby (which it sound like you do) then get ready for a long hard journey.

But keep your head up. A lot of girls go through it alone. (man in jail, or left..One or the other) as long as you've got the support of your fam, then you'll be fine.

I was pregnant at 16 too. I did it on purpose actually (not the best thing, as I look back now) and it's going to be hard. Your life will never be the same. Just remember that you are not going to be the same person at 18 when your man gets out, and neither is he....

thats what probably really helped me on this reply. First off I want to say thanks you for replying. And well yes im stressing I know its not good at all but it just hurts so bad knowing that my boyfriend is in jail and not knowing when he will get out omg it just hurts so bad!!!!!!!! oh wow.. That's a book and a half! Lolz

short version? Yes I kept my baby. He'll be 7 in sept. It was the hardest thing i've ever done. And I know you most likely wouldn't like to hear, but if I could chose to go back, I would have never had a baby at that age. Personally as an adult, I feel awful for giving my child a 17 year old mother. But that's just me.

A lot of girls get the wrong idea about being a young mom. They see all of their teen mom girlfriends with kids and think that it's easy (maybe a little difficult, but do-able right?) well the only thing I can advise is to ask a former teen mom. Because in the beginning it's much easier, and the help is there.

Later on, that baby becomes a kid, and although it's lovely at first, when you get older it gets much harder.

If that's your choice (to keep) you'll pull thru ofcourse. And be excited, becase all in all, you find rays of sunshine in any of the hard situations ;]

Yeah girl I totally feel you on that and everything but see its donee and im already pregnant and I know through whatever I can make it and I will have my family by my side. It just hurt so bad having to see that my babys daddy is locked up and he wont be able to enjoy our baby it just so painful. But whatever happened to your babys daddy??/
oh yeah about that teen mom thing I have a relly close friend and well she got pregnant at my age she says its not easy at all right now shes 19 she had themost beautiful baby girl and shes never had a babys daddy to be by her side :-]

My sons dad and I have been thru a lot. I left him when we were young because he wasn't ready to settle down. (stupid gang drama... Thatz cali for ya though)

i didn't want that life for my child, so I left him. He and I talked throughout.. But didn't officially get back together until 3 years later.

Now we have another on the way, and our 8 year anniversary is up this june <3

so you never know mama ;]
