I was hit dead square in the eye with a baseball. This caused blood in my eye and a swollen retina.
The ophthomologist put me on cyclogl (red top eye drop) to dilate my pupil. After my retina healed - he took me of the drop and said it may take a few days to a week to wear off.
I have been of the drops 2 weeks and my pupil is still dilated. I had an exam this morning and he said trauma like this can cause the pupil to dilate. Asked the chances of it returning to normal - he said 70/30.
Does anyone have experience with this?
Thanks,
jeb
