Answer
That is what that means. Once you are having a period regularly, you are ovulating again.

Depo Question/answer
It can take two years for the depo to be entirely out of your system. I have also taken depo for 6 years and have quit for 1 year and 7 months. My periods are just now starting to get back to normal.

I was on the depo shot for a year, and when I got off of it, my period was really messed up. Sometimes I would bleed for two weeks, and then sometimes I wouldn't. It's been like 6 months since I have been off of it and i've had my period normally for 2 months. It kinds sucks getting off of the depo shot because you never know when you are gonna start bleeding.

I advise against Depo
I was on Depo for less than a year, I only had two injections and it messed me up really bad.
I passed a large mass vaginally that really freaked me out and had to go to the emergency room.
the doctor there told me that women HAVE to have a period, it isn't natural.
he also told me that eventually the shot would make me sterile, even after i quit taking it.
I'd say your best be is just regular old birth control, I know it sucks to have to remember to take a pill everyday, but from personal experience, Depo messed me up.
