Does anyone take this? How does it work for you? Side effects?

I've been on it for 5 months now, and after I started others around me said they could see a difference, but I can't really tell.

I still am so damned depressed, and lonely, and feel a bit suicidal at times.

I don't like the sexual side effects.

Believe What the People Around You Are Saying...
In my opinion I think lexapro is a wonderful drug. It has the least amount of side effects. And if you are concerned about weight gain there is no side effect like that. But you certainly can not just take a drug and use it as a magic bullet. You must also begin to change the way that you think and I think therapy can help with that. Begin to think about things in life that are worth living for instead of not living for. Also, everyday begin to change negative thoughts in your head for example "i am so bad at my job I screw up everyday" change that to thinking of something you do do right at your job!!! Or god maybe you arent as bad as you think give yourself a break!

Ps listen to people around you they are a better judge than you!
