Hep C And Migraines
Posted: 05-30-05 03:14am

Hi there..... My best friend has been recently diagnosed w/ hep c and doesn't have insurance to go and see a doctor. We don't even know what his levels are or anything. Problem is..... He has been having 3-4 migraines a week and we really not sure what is causing them. None of the situations have been the same when he gets them. Are migraines typical of a hep c symptom? In all of the research I have done on this, I only found one article that mentions the two together. Please someone let me know if this is a normal symptom. Thanks

Since no one has answered my 1st question, here's another one for you. What are the normal ranges in the lab tests? How often should you get tested? Thanks

Hi, my husband has hepatitis c and he has never had a migraine headache. I don't know if there is any relation to the two. If your friend is stressed out about it, which he probably is if he just found out, maybe that is causing the migraines.

My husband had a liver biopsy last june and his doctor just mailed him a yearly checkup reminder card. So i'm guessing it's good to get your blood counts checked at least once or twice a year. Some people get checked more frequently.
