Hi everyone,

i have been prescribed cbt - rational emotive behavioral therapy...

I did some initial reading about it on the net...

I also had two sessions with the clinical psychologist....

But I am still unable to get anything out of it or what I am supposed to do or how it goes...????????

I would love if anyone who has personally received rebt (rational emotive behavioral therapy) - a variant of cbt....Would share his/her experiences?????????

I would speciafically him/her to share:

1. Did it really helped???????

2. What exactly it did???????

3. Are you still applying/using it????

4. Is it worth it???????

5. Is it really practical or more idealistic with no practical dimension?????

And of all does psychotherapy actually help in any way????????????????????

Plz come forward and share ur experience in as much detail as possibe....

And yes I am really thankful for sharing ur experience and taking effort to express it...

Its truly truly appreciated...

Thanks tonnes in advance....

Best regards,

sunando
