Q: Bumps On Tongue?

On the right side of my tongue near the back I have this area that looks white. It seems to be inside, it is not on the surface of the tongue. When I press this spot it turns white and then eventually red (like when you press your skin) it looks like two small lumps that may or may not be connected. And they don’t protrude. They feel hard, but hard to tell what exactly they feel like. It may even be one long thing (about 1.5cm), its hard to tell. The other side doesn’t have them. They started bothering me lately, maybe because I am always poking them. Anyone know what they may be?
