I have deep pain in my upper arms, some in my lower arms. And hands. It feels like my bones hurt. This is agonizing pain. The pain wears me down, I am so tired all the time, I could go to sleep at any given time. I can only sleep in short spurts because the pain is worse when I sleep & wakes me up. I am desperate!

How old are you? If you are elderly, you may have arthiritis.
If you are still pretty young, there may be another condition that causes this.
Go to your Dr. And ask. Know for sure and get help. Take care and post again on how you are doing.
Hope you feel better. :)

I'm not sure what it is, but i've been having the same thing. I know anxiety can cause a lot of aches and pains. I have been seeing a chiropractor, but it hasn't been helping. My arms have actually started to shake at times. Do you use a computer a lot? I'm thinking that might be my problem. Good luck.

Aching Bones
I have aching bones too! Lower leg, ankles, knee's, lower arms especially wrists, fingers and lower back.Sometimes hips aswell, my left hip gives way at times too. Also feel like they are burning at times. Have been tested for all sorts but all tests come back clear. It is so painful and is making life very difficult. Wish I knew what was wrong, doctors don't seem to know but cannot carry on like this just taking painkillers and not improving, any idea's???

Hello Lissanlee. I have similar symptoms except the swelling is in my ankles. I have had a lot of tests completed and they have found nothing. Have you had any success?

I too have had this problem. Believe it not stress is very bad and it can put your entire body out of balance. I go to a Chiropractor that specializes in Kinesiology. She uses pressure points and supplements. It could be your adrenal glands. Regular medical doctors don't believe in this but the adrenals can mess up so many things in your body, including aches and pains, making you lethargic, exhausted. Another thing the chiropractor told me is that everyone is allergic to sugar. So get off sugar and white carbs. Sugar can be like a poison in the body. Within 3 days of stopping all white flour and sugar I had no more aches. The adrenal pressure points and supplements took away my tiredness and pain. Good luck.

Hey - Im under an insane amount of stress right now (Mother of 2 children - a 2yr and a 1 month old..1 month old is very very ill and has been hospitalized most of his life) and have barely slept in 3 weeks. About a week ago my arms started to hurt extremely bad - now it has spread through my whole body. I can barely open a door and walk down stairs.. Im only 34 and otherwise in good health. It is much worse later at night and when I wake up in the morning. Sleep is almost impossible as everything hurts no matter if Im laying down or not. Ive tried vitamins Ibuprofin tylenol..even a percocet, which just makes me not care that Im in pain... Im heading to the Dr.s next week for blood tests - was sent to ER with no findings but high blood pressure, which is NOT normal for me 149/96.. Ive had anxiety and panic attacks about 8 yrs ago and this is NOT the same as this is unrelentless.. if anyone has ever experienced the same thing... Id love some insight.. Id love to sleep for a week however that is not possible..

Watch what you buy...
Location to buy a mattress? Be careful. We purchased a Temporpedic knock off at Walmart.com. We got our money's worth- meaning.. you get what you pay for (wasted $). My aunt was bedridden for the last year of her life. She had a sleep number bed. She didn't get bed sores like other terminal patients. No, I do not work for company- I and my husband are full-time students (I have a part-time job at University= little $). I too am under a lot of stress and anxiety. I'm a married, 40 yr old, Ph.D student with two young daughters. And, my 2nd paper is coming due and comprehensive exams are in 5 months (not enough time in day). My right arm (in bone) has been hurting off and on for a few months, depending on stress level for that week. Campus Med Dr. said I was dehydrated, had low blood pressure, and needed vitamins. Gatorade helps, but as soon as I can find an affordable location- I'm buying a sleep number. Either my wallet or my body is going to give.

I have been having problems for years. I bought a pillow-top bed, then a memory foam bed, then a stiffer memory foam, & now have a sleep number. I hate it. My husband hates it. We have adjusted it, had the company email us instructions on adjusting, had the company send us a topper for it... I still hate it. I too suffer from pain in my bones, back pain, anxiety, depression, pain in my arms/wrists/hands, & am exhausted. I eat well (mostly organics), take vitamins, exercise, have near perfect bloodwork every time it's taken, & still no answers...

bone aches and pains
I too have this issue. I ache all over my body. I am lactose intolerant I've had hip ache all my life and sometime limp because the hip bones are still forming. I was told I should get another inch or two taller but I doubt it I am 35. I have been lethargic sleeping all day and mustering what little energy I had to cook clean take care of my kids and go to sleep. I also have been stress ed. One day on the way out of church I stepped on an uneven pavement and i fell catching myself with my hands. I didn't feel it was a hard fall at all and felt fine till a day later. My whole body ache to the bone for two weeks. I goes from a dull pain to a fire filling to sometime a tooth achey feeling. My fingers hurt to been. Coincidentally it is pollen season I caught two colds (which started as an allergy) within these two weeks for about 2 days each. I've also had a low grade fever accompanying the aches. I have been dehydrated since i drank a lot of tea with honey. There cold be so many reason why this is happening but i am wondering is anyone going throw the same thing or have a commonality with me in regards to the bone aches and the supporting issues. Have you figured out as to why this is happening?

Vitamin D Deficiency
Have your vitamin D levels checked. I've been suffering with excruciating back pain for more than 15 years. For the past 3 years, my ENTIRE muscularskeletal system has been the source of much pain. It's felt like every bone, every muscle, every joint in my body (hands, fingers, arms, neck, shoulders, spine, hips, thighs, legs, feet, toes) HURTS. I've refused to take prescription pain pills because doctors/specialists couldn't give me any answers (no diagnosis), but they were more than willing to write prescriptions for controlled substances, which over the years, could have led to an addiction to pain pills. In addition to the pain, I've had lightheadedness, EXTREME FATIGUE, and have just been barely functioning. Well, I finally found a doctor who listened intentively to my symptoms, and instead of giving me a prescription, suggesting that my life was too stressful (hell, whose life isn't), or looking at me like I was crazy or a hypochondriac, ran tests. I was tested or lupus, fibromyalgia, and vitamin D deficiency. Before the results came back, I'd researched each condition & diagnosed myself with vitamin D deficiency based on my symptoms. Sure enough, the results came back 2 days later, and I have a vitamin D deficiency. I just took my first prescribed vitamin D supplement yesterday, and I look forward to responding in weeks to come as I hopefully start to feel better. Heck, I just want my life back!!!

Yes i was diagnosed by my psychiatrist with severe anxiety, and i don't even have panic attacks.

I ache in my bones all the time, and my mind feels foggy or weird. Those are my biggest pains about anxiety.

I have a different take on this subject, especially if you get that stress and anxiety are powering the symptoms. There is a method that you can use to remove these sort of issues from tormenting you. I wrote it out in a booklet that explains everything. I put it on Kindle bookstore. I wanted to make it free, but the lowest price they will allow is .99 cents, so that's what it is. I hope it helps. It's called, Everything is a Distraction by SCusick.
