I'm glad that you're feeling better about things. Please rest assured that I would never simply say encouraging words to make someone feel better. That would be entirely irresponsible. I discuss each problem based on the facts, so if a situation is high risk, I will say so. Likewise, as in your situation, I will acknowledge low-risk scenarios and attempt to explain exactly why it is low-risk, based on medical research. It is only in this way that people can be truly knowledgeable about the hiv problem.
As for testing, I would suggest that one test at three months will be entirely sufficient. However, if you feel more comfortable taking a second test at six months for your own reassurance, this will do no harm. After that point, where i'm sure you will recieve a second negative result, it is very important for your mental well-being that you let the issue go and get on with your life.
