I recently told my boyfriend that I have high-risk hpv. He is extremely concerned that his exposure to the hpv could be potentially dangerous and/or life-threatening to his brother due to his weakened immune system. He is afraid to hug or touch his brother for fear of infecting him - does anyone know anything about this????

Wow, I never heard anyone being that worried about it. He can not give it to him that easily, first of all, does he have any signs of it? If he does not have any warts on his penis there is nothing to worry about, through clothes atleast. It is a lot harder for males to get it than it is for girls (this is what my gyno told me). Guys usually have it for a really long time without having an symptoms of it!

Laser Removal of Widespread Genital Warts
Hi there, i'm new here,
my curreny bf is my first sexual partner and im 25yrs of age. He insist he doesnt ahve it and I dont know where the hell I contracted it from if nto from him.

I noticed growth and other odd looking bumps on my vulvar area recently and had no idea what a wart was then! I'm sad I did not know, it has grown bigger and hs spread. Now I do not only have multiple warts but they are large and widespread. Howcome I did nto notice? Well, I did not have symptoms!! :(
i have been to a gyneologist and I have been referred to a hospital to have them removed under ga outpatients-laser surgery. I am very scared! I knwo it is going to hurt. Is there another alternative to this? I'm aware the treatment depends on the size, location etc of warts..I have been told I mgiht be scarred down there a bit. The doc says it doesnt really matter.. :?
I have always been cautious and worried as I feared stds before even finding out about what they were..Some of them seem to be blocking my cervix (i think)..As im having probelms going ot the bathroom!! Theyare not the size of my head but they got pretty big..My bf keeps saying I diditn get them from him, the doc asked him to bring some vinegar to check if he has them, he said sometimes they are nto detectable etc..Im in australia btw..
All the best to you all!! :d
