Q: St John's Wort And Birth Control

I just purchased some st. John's wort and am on a generic lutera because of painful menustration. I read there are some interactions. I am not worried about the losing the effectiveness of the pill. Because there are other forms of birth control but the breaththrough bleeding has me a little concerned. I am curious if anyone has had any reaction when using a birth control pill and st. John's wort.
