I'm having a constant soreness in my right
humorous and sometimes right below by
elbow but on the inside of my arm. There
is no bruising and I am 99.9% positive
that I didn't hit it on anything or fall
on it. It's not a pain that I cannot
stand, it's just there especially when I
do things like pull a door open or open a
bottle - basically anything that requires
some type of arm strength. And when I
bend it after it's been in a certain
position for a few minutes or so. It's
been this way for maybe 5 or 6 days now.
I thought maybe the first day, that I may
have slept on it in a weird position or
something, but it seems akward that it
would last almost a week.
I'm 17 years old and female - I don't know
if that could have anything to do with it
or not. I had two surgeries to remove a
unicameral benign bone cyst that covered
almost half of the same humorous in 1999.
The first did not work - they tried some
type of injections or something. The
second time he made two small incisions
and scraped? The bone to remove it and
then added calcium pellets - i'm not sure
of the exact terminology. The cyst had
allowed my arm to fracture about 4 or 5
times in a few year span from normal
childhood activities and small falls.
Anyways, as far as we knew, it was gone
and there was nothing to worry about
anymore.
Could a cyst reoccur later and be causing
me pain? I am absolutely clueless as to
what could be causing this.
In case this is of any importance - I
played pickleball (similar to pingpong
except just with a low volleyball net and
small wooden paddles) for the first time
last week. It was during school gym class
maybe 4 days last week or so. I didn't do
anything out of the ordinary or move my
arm in any strange positions so it didn't
seem likely.
I also had a spinal fusion 3 years ago for
scoliosis, but I don't think that could
have anything to do with it.
