Q: Gall Bladder Flushing: dissolve stones possible?
asked by: Heman on May 25th, 2005

I had been recommend the gall bladder flush instead of sugery, but then I came accross this article that said the "soapy" stones that one passes using this method are actually created by the combination of olive oil and the lemon juice themselves. I've heard you can dissolve stones without flushing. Has anyone tried this?

 I didn't try dissolving the stones without flushing but I did try the flush... Ummmmm it wasn't pleasant! When I finally got referred to a surgeon he told me there were all kinds of 'so called remedies' for stones and said don't... I said I already tried it and it about killed me.. He laughed with me and said... Olive oil may be a better fat but it's fat and the gb reacts the same to it as it does bad fat... Which I found out the hard way... :? :o good luck if you decide to try something... Be careful... I got very nauseous and had lots of pain...
