Lately I have been getting these 3-10minute periods in a day where I start to think about my self, my body, my relationship, college work, work itself etc... And I feel short of beath and anxious, worked up, I just feel out of myself for a small amount of time and then im ok, for the most part.... Is it anxiety or just plain old stress??? It's been enough to make me notice the change...

Sure sounds like anxiety...But luckily mild anxiety!
I am sure that it is still frustrating, and bothers you a great deal,,,,but I hope that because you have caught yourself obsessing so early in the game - you'll be able to beat the health questions before the anxiety increases.

First, know that every person on this big green planet, at some point has had some depressing, anxiety causing thoughts.
But, some of us "lucky" ones can create something greater and make ourselves feel defeated by our own minds.

Because we can create anxiety with our minds, can't we destroy it?
From what i've learned from the program I went through, this is the only cure. (though medicine can help, it cannot cure)

next time you begin to feel the anxiety rush in,,,,,try to calm yourself. Breathe deeper and slower - in through your nose out the mouth.
That alone will help to calm you heart, and distract the mind somewhat from your other thoughts.
I guess next is to feed yourself positive thoughts, and ideas...Though I haven't been very good at that part...But I hope you are.

Good luck, and let us know how you are doing!
