I would consider myself lucky to not feel regret nor much at all. In my case, the moment I opened my eyes in the recovery room after having had the abortion, I regretted it intensely. Two years later, I still regret it but talking about it (over this website) has really helped me. There are some really caring people out here.

I would like to thank you for replying to my message. It's nice to know someone cares enough to take the time to write. Many people read these messages and never reply... I really appreciate your kindness. I went back to the doctor last week and I guess everything is fine. I tried to ask questions and they wouldn't answer me, they just looked the other way. I'm so frustrated at the way the nurses and docter treated me. But oh well.... What can I do now?? I just know that I will not do that again. If anyone needs to talk, i'd be happy to help in any way I can. I wish I would have known about this site earlier....

it is extremely hard after an abortion. there are so many emotions and what ur feeling, or not feeling is perfectly normal. i had an abortion when i was 16. i am am 21 now and sometimes still cry over it. i am now currently going through a medical abortion and am feeling horrible emotionally and physically, this site IS extremely helpful. i've been able to vent a lot. i wish i knew about it when i was 16. although my boyfriend was completely suportive, it helps a lot to talk to other women who have physically been through it.
