Yes it was a scam. They are called ponzi organizations and they make their money based on the ignorance of the people they con into selling thier snake oil.
My in-laws were selling nekkin magnets and that is all my father-in-law would talk to me about. I told him that I was not interested in magnets and that there was no way on earth I woul dbe paying $180.00 a month for multi-vitamins. I take one-a-day brand and that is that.
Needless to say, consumer reports did a report on how effective magnets are and I was not suprised to see that the folks that had the magnet shoe inserts had more foot problems then those that either had regular shoe inserts or no inserts.
Do not get involved in amway, avon, princess house, nekkin, tahitian noni, usana, fill in the company, unless you want to alienate yourself from all of your friends and family and lose all of the money you have. These companies are wealthy not because they sell product but because they sell little companies to all of the people that are crazy enough to believe that they can build a little pyramid of success on the backs of thier family.
Good luck to those that believe it is helpful but to those that are worried about getting involed, it is the voice of reason that you are hearing and you need to run away from the scam artists trying to get into your wallet.
