I know that everyone says that you can get pregnant while on your period...That makes sense.

The only thing that I don't get is:

if you get pregnant early in your period, does your period stop?

How would you know how many weeks you are? Because normally people count the first full month even though you would only have been pregnant for a week or two during it

i've searched the web and I can't find anything on this topic

No your period would not just 'stop' if you had sex and got pregnant while on it. Because it still goes through a process until the sperm actually connects with you, doesnt just happen instantly, thats why you still have to wait a couple weeks until taking a pregnancy test before it will show up :)
