I recently got out of the "ward" after being in there for 2 weeks in a row!Man was that depressiing, but the worst was that I can't see my 1 1/2 year old due to being "considered" dangerous. Now I am living in a hotel and waiting for hud to set me up with a permanant residence.Life sucks!

Good luck to you and your little one!

I hope things have worked out for you. Please post and let me know what's happening.
I am homeless yes, I also believe I am bipolar. I have been dx'd with severe depression, but not bipolar, in the past.
Thank god for public libraries and getting to use a computer there. I really believe i'd lose it if I couldn't get on a 'puter at least once in awhile.
Please tell me about hud and them getting a place for you. I have never heard of that. How does one get help like this. I don't have a job right now, but want one. It's so hard when you don't have a phone, so that employers can contact you. Let alone the hassle of clean clothes, food, etc etc.
I have been officially homeless since june 20th. I'm tired of this, but don't know how to get out of the cycle. I'm, not lazy, just severely depressed, and can't think clearly. Any advice anyone can give me is greatly appreciated.
