Hi, I am new to the board. I have been on the pill for about 7 months. I have taken the pill before and was on it for 3 years, so I know what to expect. Well everything has been fine this time in taking the pill. I just got married on april 2 and he had never ejaculated inside me (he didn't feel comfortable doing that until we were married) which I know doesn't mean I won't become pregnant. Well of course during our honeymoon he does, and from time to time now he does. But what I have noticed during the last month is I can't stay awake past 9pm lol. I am passing out I can't keep my eyes open. And I know that's not a symptom from the pills. The past couple of days my breast have been itchy. I'm not sure what to think. I will take a test if my period is late again, oh yeah I forgot to mention that, it was 2 days late last month, shorter and lighter. I know it's possible to be pregnant on the pill, one of the women I work with got pregnant on the pill and had a period the whole time, but lost the baby by month 5, didn't know she was pregnant until then. Any response will be helpful, thanks for reading.

When I was on birth control (ortho lo and mircette) I was really really tired, couldn't stay awake, and needed way more sleep than normal. Hormones do funny things. Why don't you take a home pregnancy test? Based on your post, it sounds like it is more likely a side effect of the pill (but of course I can't say for sure...)

Since I have started the pill I am really tired. I will go to a friends house to stay the nite or something and they want to stay up really late and im just like forget that I am going to bed. I do good to stay up past 12 and normally during the summer when I dont have school I would stay up till 3am with no problem what so ever.....It could just be that.
