Q: How Long to Take a Pregnancy Test?

I had a pregnancy test done in the clinic the day I went to take the ecp. I had my patch off for 2 days but I only had sex before it came off (on day 14) and I assumed that by having it on for 7 hours I should be protected. My doc said I had to go back 3 weeks after (coming up next thursday, may 26) to make sure I am not pregnant. I am going soooooooooooooooooo nuuuuuuuuuuuuuts I cannot think about anything else. Should I take a hpt or should I just wait 6 more days. I have been scared to death to take one bc I dont want it to be positive!

Please help me! I need to hear some words of encouragement!

We were able to get positive results within 9 days of conception. It wasn't a dark line for the second line but it was there and after 13 days we were positive for sure. On the 14th day we went to the fertility specialist and had the blood test done and it was positive so we were thrilled.

If you have enough money to buy a home test kit, do it. You don't have to buy one of the super expensive ones, we bought the walgreens brand and actually it was buy one get one free, that was how we were able to do the hpt 2x's before the blood test.
