I had mononucleosis when I was six years old. Have had episodes of nearly overwhelming fatigue, along with slightly toxic/feverish feeling, aching of muscles or joints, and slight sore throat since then. Used to be a few times a year, now sometimes (at age 59) as often as once a month, lasting about 10 days. Advil helps, but the tiredness really, really gets in the way of getting things done. Just want to sleep and sleep and sleep...No relation to medications or any other correlation over the years.
Can this be post-mono/cfs/epstein barr? Any opinions out there?
