Father Will Not Go to the Doctor. Posted: 05-19-05 14:44pm
My father is 73 years and he himself is
pretty sure that he is developing
parkinsons disease. He has problems when
he is eating or drinking. We ate at a
mexican restaurant a few weeks ago and and
he could barely fill up his fajita because
his arm was shaking and he could not
control his fork. Like I said, my father
knows what is happening. My grandmother
had the same thing. He says that he is
scared of the medicine he will be given
because it made his mother unable to walk.
I tell him that that was more likely just
the disease that was not treated properly
and not the medicine, plus that was a long
time ago. I am in my early twenties, and
my husband is in the us army. We just
moved to fl, leaving my my father in tn.
I have a brother who is still in college
there and he checks in on dad, but he will
be graduating in year and moving away.
It feels weird to be so young and have to
deal with this, but it has to be done. I
love my father. My husband and I have
talked, and he has no problem with me
inviting my father to come live with us
here. But I still have to figure out how
to get him to see a doctor, and for a man
who has lived in the same town for 70
years, I do not know how I am going to
convince him to move to another state. I
guess I am just asking for some advice
from someone who has dealt with this
before. I have done research, but that
gets me no where with my father. Any
advice would be greatly appreciated.

My grandfather has had parkinsons for
about 2 years now. His medical dr's
pretty much gave up on him and were
like,"nothing we can do about it now" I
started doing some research and found an
herbalist that has cured parkinsons, she's
here in my area. She said that no
man-made drug has ever stopped parkinsons,
the only way to stop it is though detoxing
the body and herbal therapy. There are
over 100 prescriptions that cause
parkinsons. ( I was mad) I took her
advice for some of my own symptoms and
she's right on the money. My only problem
now is getting my grandfather to see her,
he's lost faith in dr's (i tried to
explain that she's not one) but I would
suggest visiting a herbalist, they really
can work miracles. This lady I know had
severe liver damage from taking nexium,
she was yellow and the dr's told her she
had about 6 months to live, she visited an
herbalist and she's doing great. The dr's
are baffled!
Good luck.

There is no need for people who have
parkinson to see doctors anymore. My
parents have a very good friend has been
suffer for parkinson for years. Then I
was told there is a new product which is
good for parkinson. I introduced it to
him, after 1.5 months, he fells much
better. Now, both my parents begin to eat
it everyday.
This product has no side effect. It is
an excellent combination of the most
effective natural nutrients that feed the
mitochondria which give the brain energy.
Studies have shown that mitochondrial
decay is a very significant factor in
aging and age- related degeneration such
as memory loss, learning deficit, and
motor dysfunction. The unique combination
of ingredients in its complements each
other¡¦s functions and offers maximum
effectiveness for brain cell
revitalization. Its antioxidant
properties also help to protect the
nervous system from oxidative damage, slow
neurodegeneration, and provide optimal
functioning for the body¡¦s immune
system.

Avoid Medication For Parkinson's Disease Posted: 10-08-05 16:55pm
I agree with your father! I am 65 yrs
and was diagnosed three days before last
christmas. The neurologist gave me 3
months to cure myself and then he said I
would have to go on the medication.
After my enquiries as to the after-effects
of the medication he informed me that my
liver would be damaged. Why would I
want additional problems I ask?
I have not had any of the drugs and I am
improving. I have incorporated various
treatments and now family and friends are
commenting on how well I look; my
movements are faster and more flexible.
The latest treatment I commenced on 16th
august and that has made the biggest
difference. The website I got it from is
www.Pdrecovery.Org
this treatment is free (there is a lot of
reading to do though) but
unfortunately it only works on people who
have not been on drugs longer than 4
weeks.
I would dearly love to make contact with
other unmedicated pd sufferers.
