( only two days on lexapro and zanex ) should I though it out to see if there may be some results? By the way i've taken every natural product on the market for anxiety and I feel as though i'm losing the battle. Freak

You Are Not a Freak
Number one, you are definetely not a freak! Please don't think that. Many people suffer from anxiety and panic attacks and they all survvie. Sorry the medication is not working for you. Have you told your doctor about this? Medication does take a while to work so you should wait whil it kicks in. Then you may see results.
If you feel like you are losing the battle, the best thing you can do is talk to someone who understands like a counselor who may help.
I don't want to be a hypocrite but I think you should see a professional.
You take care and keep your chin up. "everything will be all right in the end and if its not all right it is not the end."

thanks poetmcc, the doc says this may take a couple weeks to get turned arouned. The last panic attack was friday night and with this one the surge of symptoms didn't go with the attack the way they usually do. My chest is still burning and all the rest of it. I just need it to stop..........
Can't seem to find peace. Thanks for your support taylormade

Hi,

i was in the same boat as you, perscribed drugs freaked me out more because I didnt feel 'normal'. It took me 3 years to overcome my attacks fully, you will learn a way to deal with them, it will take time though. I found that by avoiding certain foods, eating healthily and excercising really helped me. Other than that I drank camomile tea whenever I felt irritable and I also took quiet life tablets when I felt a funny turn coming on. Now i'm back on track, not had an attack in over a year and I dont get anxiety attacks either. Mine were so bad at one point I wasnt sure if I would make it through the year, I couldnt do anything, go anywhere I was in a prison.

I just wanted to let you know that there is light at the end of the tunnel, be strong and keep fighting your attacks!

Good luck!
