Up until a year ago I was on ortho-tri-cyclen for almost 4 years straight . I never had any problems except extreme nausea .

My doctor had me switching to yasmin, ortho-tri-cyclen low, tri-nessa, to try and get rid of the nausea .

Come to find out I had an ulcer so I got antacids and went back to ortho-tri-cyclen because it was the only thing to help with my skin .

So the problem is....
I've been back on ortho-tri-cyclen for 5 months now and since the beginning I have been spotting up to 3 times a week . Sometimes it is only for a couple of hours and other times for a day . It is light brown and then pink .

Does anyone know what the problem is here ? If it is the birthcontrol itself or something else ? I'd really appreciate it because my doctors can't come up with anything at all . It's 5 months, any side effects should have gone away from now.

The only thing I really know that causes spotting from birth control is if your not taking your pill at the same time every day, if your late or are missing some pills that can cause spotting, thought if your doing all of that correctly I am not sure what would be the direct cause of your bc making you spot.
