Ok well i'm not too sure about the engry levels although I think if you eat the right foods and have a fairly healthy lifestyle your engry should not be a problem.
Now onto the losing weight. Its fine to lose weight but I can tell you from past experince that by cutting down on calories your body will store even more fat and you will not lose weight at all in fact there is a great possibabitly that you would gain weight.
Think of this ok, just for a minute, you know the magazines that tell you about all of these great diets that help you lose weight and look great well they are not true at all, no one really loses the weight and if they do they put it back in withing a few months. If magazines where to promote diets that actually worked then they would be out of business because everyone would have lost weight and there would be no need for anyone to read those mags anymore. So never read things like that which tell you to cut down on your calorie intake because it won't work.
I know this might be hard to believe but if you eat healthy amounts of food in small portions 6 times a day and you do a little exercise then you will begin to lose weight. This works because if you start to cut down on calories and your food intake your body thinks that there is a famine and so it stores all the fat it needs to stay alive because it does not know when it will be feed again but if you eat regularly and in small amounts your metabolism speeds up, burns the calories quicker and helps you lose weight faster but healthier as well.
I don't know if you knew this but the people who are most overweight tend to eat less then those who are at a normal weight because of the reason I just explained. There bodies hold onto more of the fat because they eat less and so the calories aren't burnt and the fat stays where it is.
I hope you reach your goal but also remember that weight cannot control your happiness, you control your own happiness.
Good luck and I hope I helped a little.
