I wouldn't worry too much about being
sterile after only one time of douching.
I have never heard of any cases anyway.
Douching is not recommended. Just learn
from this lesson and don't do it again!

Why would you douch on your period you are
not even supposed to douch at all the dr
will tell you that. Yeah but don't worry
about being sterile sometimes periods are
differnt from the last one so don't worry
about it just don't douch again soak in a
hot bath with viniger you'll be fine.

Douching will not make you sterile, oh my
god!
Fyi your vagina is self-cleaning ,
douching is unneccesary. If there is a
lingering odor or discharge that is funny
douching will not help anyway if it is an
infection, actually could worsen the
problem but not make you sterile!!

Douching is definitely not good.. It
irritates your cervix, making it inflamed
and you are more prone to infections, but
douching alone will not make you sterile!
Shoot, you can get infections just by
wearing tight pants! So if you ever think
something smells a little different, get
into the doc to get checked. Bacterial
and yeast infections happen to women all
the time, but nothing a small prescription
can't get rid of.
I usually just clean myself out after my
period is over (because I use tampons), by
soaking in a warm bath. I'd use vinegar
in the tub, I just can't stand that smell.
Haha.
Don't worry, just don't use those things
ever again!

Douching one time, whether on your period
or any other time, is not going to hurt
you or make you sterile. If you douche
all the time, it might upset the acid
balance in your vagina and lead to yeast
infections, but one time is not going to
hurt you.
Obviously, you wouldn't douche right after
you had sex if you were trying to make a
baby, but that's not what you were
doing.
Stress can effect your menstrual cycle, so
it's possible that your mother telling you
this, or something else that is stressing
you out, caused your period to change this
month. Also health problems, weight
change, etc. Can affect your menstrual
cycle.

douching will not make you sterile sorry
thats crazy! but it isnt good to always
douche because what happens is that it
washes away stuff in side you that helps
fight off things naturally in your body.
but if you have a bad period it doent hurt
to once in a while douch but i wouldn't it
really. its not good for you, but as far
as making you sterile i never heard of
that and i really dont think from one time
you would become sterile theres women all
the time douching and have 3 or 4 kids.
