Dullness In Lower Back/tail Bone Plz Help Posted: 05-15-05 12:34pm


Hi I am feeling a dullness in my lower back since I had a baby.Irs been 4 months still that has not reduced .My buttocks hurts when I lie down and turn to sides..I do not have pain lower back but this dullness is limiting my activities at home/..I cud hardly put my baby in crib..I am 26 yrs old..Which spcialist shud I need to see??Plz help me.I cud not take care of my baby,since I cud not carry him for more than 10 mins. I used to be active when I was pregnant.My delivery was normal with no drugs ?

Many pregnant women get problems with their sacro illiac, the joint between the illia and the sacrum, i would suggest going to a pyhsio or a osteopath. The body goes through soooo many changes during pregnancy, that it a common cause. I also have similar symptoms to you and i do have trouble with my sacro illiac, but i also have tight gluts and quadratus lumborum (QL) so go and have a check up as it will only get worse. good luck!
