Q: Drainage In Throat

I am 45 and for as long as I remember I have had drainage into my throat after eating anything. And I stress anything. Does not matter if it is spicy. My nose runs and it drains to the point that I have to keep clearing my throat. Can anyone give me an idea how to control. It drives my wife crazy.And myself for that matter.
