Is NuGreens (or any other brand) a good veg/fruit supplement....
...I mean as opposed to not having veg/fruit at all. Fresh Produce is better but I can only afford about 5 fresh/frozen servings of fruit & vegs a day (versus the 7-10 recommended). I don't see how it's be any better/worse than drinking fruit juice (aside from juice being more expensive) and you'd get the fiber in the powdered form anyway. Some brands oh dehydrated veg matter have the daily multi-vit added in too. Any thoughts on this?

if you're getting 4-5 servings of fresh frozen veg/fruit a day, you're doing fine. you don't need 7-10 necessarily. nothing can replace real food. try to buy organic if you can. and take a multivitamin appropriate to your age and gender needs. getting nutrition is not just about numbers and levels and chemicals, it's about nourishment, what's nourishing to your mind body and soul. it's the sensory experience that 'feeds' you too. try learning how to cook simple recipes for yourself.

thems my thoughts and good wishes fer ye Wink
