I have been on the patch for a month but I kind of messed up. I wore the patch for 3 weeks (off 1 week) but I didn't put another patch on for 7 days after my period. How long after starting the patch again will I have to use a back up method (the doctor's office told me a month), is that right?

Hey

i believe that you have to use back up for 1 week. If you put a new patch on use back up untill your change day.
I am however not a doctor so if thats what they told you maybe you should follow there advice or call back again.
