Birth control is 99% effective (not accurate) if taken correctly. Yeah, if taken at exactly the same time everyday, if you aren't ill, if your body doesn't reject it, if you don't take another medication or even a vitamin that counteracts it. Things happen. All of the time. People get pregnant on birth control everyday, yes, even the people who take it correctly. Condoms rip. Accidents do happen, and it doesn't mean that the person that it happens to was irresponsible or immature. Yes, that is the case sometimes, but obviously not all of the time. And unless you are the one in the situation, why would you have any right to say what the pregnant woman should do? Prochoice is about understanding that it is up to the person that it affects, and not up to society. No, we don't try to promote abortions, and ultimately we are happier if the woman decides to have the baby. But, the difference between being prolife and prochoice is, regardless of the decision, we offer support. Unless you get your way, you bash, judge and place blame. He/she may have quiet the temper but cant we all at some point in time.. If you have an abortion for rape..Incest...Medical..Problems with you or the baby then some people just cant help that and it is not your fault that you would be put in those types of positions...
