Q: Mustache/ Beard Suggestions

I am 24 years old guy who can not grow a full beard nor a "real" mustache...
All what I have is a light mustache and when I do not shave for a week or so I would have scattered small areas of hair (beard) .. If I stop shaving for a month or even more I would have the only bit darker scattered areas that is it!!
How can I grow a full beard and mustache? I am open to all suggestions ..
(a friend had told me that if I loss weight it might help because fat loss would increase the level of testosterone! Another friend suggested to shave daily I did and no obvious results!)

How overweight are you?

It doesn't matter though... I am sorry to tell you this, but your genetics have turned off the gene that codes for a full beard, I don't think theres anything you can do about it. However I do have an idea...

I heard on the radio once that after someone's face gets burned, and they do plastic surgery, they implant hairs into their scarred folicles to try and stimulate them to regrow. You may want to call one of those doctors that help people with hair transplants and see what he can do for you.

I Think That Guys Without Beards Are Sexy!
I am a 20 year old girl, and my husband is 26. He cannot grow a beard and only has a light mustache. When I met him that was a sexual attraction to me, and still is! Ofcourse, how you portray yourself is most important, but most of my friends, as well as myself, dont like beards and mustaches. Anyway, to each his own. I wish you luck though.

I like a clean shave too, but a mustache and gotee is also appealing. I know some people that cant grow it oo but I think its in the genes. Just be licky your not all hairy and have to shave every morning because you have stubs.

Hey bro, I don't know if this is true or not but my barber told me to shave with shaving cream and your facial hair will grow. She said that most companies that make shaving creams and gels put a chemical inside that triggers hair growth.

I don't know if that's true, it might be worth looking into.

Hmmmm...Misscamie20, I think rather than trying something like u suggested, h2s has to find out why he doesn`t have the ability to grow hair in those places, but its always good to know of other products on the market :d

Some guys just cannot grow hair in some spots. My boyfriend also has a problem like this. He has a goatee, but whenever he stops shaving his jawline/cheeks the hair only grows in spots. After trying for a few years to figure out how to grow the hair in those spots, he just decided to shave them and grow hair where he can.

I have the same problem. I usually have a medical response, but this time i can only have the same problem and wish for a gigantic beard. Some people say biotin makes hair grow faster and thicker. most of the time, hair does not grown on the face because the follicle is not active. although the follicle exists, it does not have the proper chemical exposure to grow thicker.
