I was hopeing someone on here might be able to help with whats going on with me. I am on my 3rd doctors appt today and he can't figure out whats going on with me. I've had nausea for about 6 weeks now and pain which is sometimes very sharp that I feel it in my back. The pain is right next to my right rib cage right above where it curves down to my side. I've had blood work, pregnancy test, and an abdominal ultrasound. Which shoed that my gallbladder was normal. Has any one on here experienced the same things and knows what this could be, does it just sound like a stomach problem? Any info would be very helpful. I'm so tired of being in pain. Thanks!

U.r.q. Pain & Nausea
I have had the same problem now for over 4 years. Have had bloodwork done 3-4 times. Ultrasound 3 times, endoscopy twice and a c.T. Scan. Still no solution. I trust you also have some belching and digestive problems as well.

Not really any other problems. My doctor gave me some prevacid which I had a bad reaction too and I had a burning up my throat and into my mouth. That went away within 2 days of stopping the medicine. My doctor is back to thinking it might be my gallbladder so i'm being sent for a hida scan. Hopefully I will get some answers because this being in almost constant pain is really starting to wear on me. I do hope you find some resolution soon over 4 years is a long time to be sickly.

Went Through Same Thing
I never had much pain neither, just belching, gas and a little buring under breastbone, had ultra sound done blood work and x rays. Finally after hidra scan of 17% they decided it was my gallbladder. Well I got that out a month ago and im even more worse off. The pain has got worse and the diarreha is urgent and explosive after my surgery, its the worse. So now there going to go in with a scope, I would get one of those first if I was you to rule out spincter of the oddi. Good luck!!
