In a locked room the shadows lye
a darkened life they live in shame
their secrets of a forgotten youth
those who knew them have forgotten there name.
Shadows of people, of souls which are now lost
they run away from the blinding light
so afraid of what they have become
they live forever in the night.
Clawing the walls, the doors, themselves
they are trapped with no way out
begging to be rescued from their hell
they always scream but never shout.
With blood stained tears the shadows exist
lingering between the night of day
and so when you hear them cry
it is because they have lost their way.
And so... The shadows will wait
in the room of silent night
where no words are spoken
in the silent room of screaming souls.

Hey everyone, just thought i'd write out this poem, I hope you like it. I have an eating disorder but also suffer from depression so I thought some people might be able to relate to it. Take care of yourselves
