About six weeks ago, I began to experience a greatly increased urgency and frequency in urination. At first, I assumed I had a uti or bladder infection. I went to the student health center and although the urinalysis did not detect any sign of bacterial infection, the doctor still put me on a sulfur based antibiotic for six days. After the six days passed, my symptoms remained the same. I went back to the health center and they tested for chlamydia and diabetes: both came back negative. I also took two home pregnancy tests (about four weeks apart) - both were also negative. My doctor said the increased urgency and frequency in urination may be stress related. I'm also experiencing persistent (though mild) heartburn and general fatigue.
After having visited gilda radner's web site, I am very concerned that I may be exhibiting signs of ovarian cancer. I do not have health insurance. Am I overreacting?
