Maybe you have a bladder infection or overactive bladder? Could you be drinking too much caffeine or alcohol? Are you on any mediction that could be causing this?

There are many things that can cause this.

I realize that you guys could be right about an infection or overactivity, but I thought I would offer my experience. About four years ago, after having kidney stones for years, I had the same symptoms as Catonia.

I just wanted to tell you that my urologist found a bladder stone that was causing the frequent urination. So, I had an operation where a laser was used to break up the stone. Recovery took about a week and I've had no problems since.

Just a thought, Catonia.

It comes on gradually, but i do know that if i drink a lot of fluid,i'm gonna be in the washroom every two minutes.
I definitely have normal control, but it just concerns me that i have such an active bladder.

I once dated an over weight guy and in school,he would drink 3 bottles of water throughout the day,yet he told me that it took several hours before he needed the bathroom, yet i couldn't drink anything at all before or during school because i'd be like a race horse. My grand mother told me he could drink more than me without the effects because he was retaining water.
Is she right?

Well, it came on gradually until I would have to go almost as soon as I finished and walked out of the bathroom. The stone was taking up a good portion of my bladder and putting pressure on it.

Your problem could be a different thing altogether than mine. I don't know about an overactive bladder, but I do know as we age we pee more often during the day. Do you get the feeling to go very badly only after you drink a lot of fluids?

She might be right about retaining water in his case, but yours is the opposite problem. I think I would see a urologist if I were you, just like I did when the bladder stone started working on me.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

Yes.
I'm absolutely fine as long as i don't drink a single thing, except when i'm really thirsty.

I once heard that having the opposite of retaining water had a good point, like keeping my weight down Confused

If you can hold it in longer next time you have the immediate need to go you will be able to stop your bladder from shrinking and possibly get it used to normal stretching again. This should really help you out in the long run.
