I had no idea what cupping therapy was and after looking at some sites on the web, it is not something I would be having done on me.

Both of you need a complete evaluation with a spinal specialist, either an orthoopedic surgeon that specializes in spines or a neurosurgeon that specializes in spines only.

Attempting to self treat yourself with ideas that you find on the web is a very dangerous thing to do.

Get a proper diagnosis and treatment plan instead.

Good luck

Back Pain In My Right Side of My Back
Hello jensboi,

Most likely, you have sciatic nerve problems.

There are special treatments for this sort of things but first, I would have to know how long it has been this way and how old you are.

Regards

Pain behind my right lung
I have sciatica on my left side and have had to sleep on my right side for 2 years at least. I do have scoliosis but this came on in the middle of the night. It is closer to my spine but not on it. Right under my shoulder blade but nearer the spine. Does not hurt to breathe but severe aching. What could it be?

Layney,

It could be a worsening of you scolioisis and could be other things.

You need to get checked out by your primary doctor to start with and then go from there.
