Yes, two white people can have a brown eyed baby. Why not?

I was told that it was medically proven that all white babies are born with blue eyes and then they change color after a few months. But they said it was not possible for a white baby to be born with brown....I am just trying to find out if this is true or not..

It was a Dr., that told me that. I am not talking about hair, I am talking about eyes. I know they can be born with any color hair.

Both my daughter and I are pure white and we were born with dark eyes. Whoever told that lied to you! Generally they will have blue or green eyes but not always!

Study the whole dna bonding thing. It is possible for two brown haired indivualls to have a child with red hair. If it is given by both parents. It could be a hidden trait that they carry and it is not dominant in them, but would be in the child if a less dominate trait, such as blonde, appeared.
Also, if you are white, it is possible that you have "black" blood in you. Unfortunatley our ancestors had slaves and there was a lot of sex crimes committed. One of your great, great, great, great... Grands could of been of a different race and their traits was just never dominate.

Definately possible. My son was born with brown eyes.

Thank you everbody.....I was just wondering because I was told that a white baby can not be born wit brown eyes. The reason I wanted to know is because a good friend of mine is being told he is the father a girls baby and he is not sure it his. She was also with another man who is native that is why he wanted to find out. Thanks again.
