Q: Extremely Nervous!

I've been having terrible pains in my abdominal region... A missed period, and my belly is so swollen that I can't fit into any of my pants.. It's so bad that I look about 6 months pregnant and i'm not pregnant at all.. Last year I was told I had a little cyst due to being pregnant and never bothered having it looked at afterwards... Now my doctor's telling me the cyst I didn't bother have looked at is probably very large judging by the symptoms i've been having. Out of curiosity could this be ovarian cancer?

Update
I've noticed the last little while that i've been feeling dizzy, and during the evening my stomach doubles the size it was in the morning. I'm not sure if this is normal. I also noticed that none of my pants fit. I got my doctors results today and they told me I wasn't pregnant which didn't surprise me. Tommorrow I have two apointments. One to see a gyno and the other to have an ultra sound done.

Feel the Same Way
In the past 4 months, I too have gained 30 lbs. I hardly ever eat. I have the same problem with my stomach being twice the size at night than it was in the morning. I have heard sudden unexplained weight gain is a sign of ovarian cancer. I went to the doctor and my pap smear came back abnormal. Well, I have done my research and the only thing that seems to match my symptoms is ovarian cancer. I am going tomorrow to the emergency room, I am not waiting for help with medical assistance. They are allready telling me that I am on a two month waiting list because I am not applying for welfare also.

Thanks For Replying
I finally got my period, and the cramps I was having earlier isn't so bad now. But i'm still gaining weight. I went for an ultra sound and they said if they find anything they'd report it back to me immediately but it's been a week and no ones called. I'm finding myself dizzy a lot now, specially at night when my stomach is so bloated I can't see my feet when I stand up straight. I'm starting to get really frustrated.

Apply for welfare if it means saving your life. Ovarian cancer is hard to beat, if it is ovarian cancer. It could also be a cyst, they cause somewhat of the same symptoms. Please keep me informed and thanks for replying it's great to finally talk to someone in the same situation.

Got Test Results Back
So I finally got my test results back, and my doctor says I don't have ovarian cancer, everything looked fine.

I'm in for my gyno to check my cervix... Hope things are doing well on your end...
