Q: Penis Aches After Orgasm

I'm a 19 year old male, with a healthy sexual lifestyle. I masturbate consistently, when i'm not having sex with my girlfriend. After orgasm, either way, feel an ache in the spongey tissue in the penis, particuarly when pressed. If I get hard again, it hurts all the more, but not enough to stop me from having sex. It just makes it a little on the uncomfortable side.

Whenever I sleep after orgasm, I can get erect with no feeling of discomfort.

Might it just be because my penis is being "stretched" when erect? I'm very thick in size.

Anyone?

Pain such as this is most often associated with peyrone's disease, nerve damage, trauma, or irritation, or a penile mass.

With peyronie's disease, you don't necessarily have to feel any masses or plaques that are usually associated with the disease - especially in the milder form. The fact that you have pain only during erection supports this cause. If this is truly the cause, treatment can involve injection of certain medications into the plaque, radiation therapy or surgery.

You should probably contact a doctor if pain persists more than the next couple of days.
