Q: Need Help With Pulled Hamstring.

I started jogging about 8 months ago each morning for about 20 minutes each morning on a treadmill and ususally on weekends I do weights and then jogging. About 3 months ago I was racing my neice and I felt a pain about 12 inches above my knee (i think it's called my hamstring). I believe it is called a pulled muscle. I continued to do jogging after I hurt it, but lately I have been racing on my lunches on fridays my friends from work and I feel the same pain on my hamstring again. This pain hurts mainly when I try to run fast. I am afraid this injury will not heal. I am going to try not running or even jogging for 2 weeks straight hopefully this will heal this injury, please let me know if you know anything about this.

You should get alot of rest. You should start to feel better soon if not please see a doctor.
