Could This Apartment Be the Problem. Posted: 05-01-05 14:21pm
Hello,
i am athmatic, and have been all my life,
I have a couple of allergies, and that's
it...So not to bad, however since moving
to this apparment, i've been ill with
sinus infections, bronchitis and just now
pnomia!!!
I wouldn't make a really big deal about
it, except both my toddlers, and my
husband whom never gets sick are having
the same troubles.
My question...Is there some way it could
be the place we are living in?
The last place was horrid and had moldy
old boards for the floor, and
cocroches...That the landlords didn't want
to deal with....Ikkkk...And my asthma and
the infections weren't as often, and my
husbant and children were not sick all the
time either.
Just wondering if anyone has ever had this
problem before....Am thinking of calling
the health board in the area and have them
check it out.
Peace
shannix

Mold is more common in newer residential
construction because the foundations are
concrete and do not provide sufficient air
flow. Pick up an at-home mold kit from
your local hardware store and send it out
to the lab (listed in the instructions) to
have it tested if you have concerns.

Allergies are considered an autoimmune
disorder, since they are caused by an
over-reaction of the immune system whereby
the body produces too many antibodies to
neutralize an antigen.
Strengthening your immune system is a must
and can be done naturally…drop me an
e-mail and I will send you some
information.
